Metheringham Squash Rackets Club March Update
The club lottery has started. We play the last Saturday of each month. To participate you must sign the syndicate agreement and pay £6 for 3 months. You can join part way through a cycle. Ask any committee member or the bar staff for details.
Foundations for the proposed extension to the changing rooms are completed and have passed inspection.
Thanks to Roy Greenwood for organising the Eric Greenwood Memorial Competition . The auction raised £465 - £150 to St Barnabas, £150 to Friends of Church Walk Surgery, £165 to the Squash Club foundation fund.
Thanks to Dan for organising the Rock and Roll Bingo night. A great time was had by all.
April 13th - charity evening to raise funds for the cervical cancer charity . Dancing and raffle. Raffle tickets available from Vicki or behind the bar.
Club Championship – entry forms are on the main notice board in the club.
Entry is FREE for all squash playing members. The categories are: Mens, Ladies, Juniors, O35s, O45s, O55s and Racketball.
The heats will be played throughout May, with the Finals night and presentation on Saturday 8th June.
Ladies-only squash session . Starting on Monday 15th April, court 2 will only be used for the Squash Girls Can session between 7.20 & 8.40 pm. Please drop in at any time and play as little or as much as you want. The cost is £2.
Grand National sweepstake - in the bar Friday Night.
