Back to squash update - showers

Dear member,

Although playing squash is not back to normal yet, we are pleased that we can take another step towards fully opening up in line with England Squash guidlines.

Showering

As far as the Club is concerned, government guidance, which is to shower at home, should be observed whenever possible. If on occasion it is essential that you shower at the Club, please observe the following precautions:-

Turn up ready dressed to play as usual and keep your kit with you on the court.

When play is finished, follow the usual court clean up procedure and then go immediately to the changing room with your kit. Have a pair of flip flops to wear in the changing room. Do not use the racks.

Only one person is permitted to use the changing room at a time , regardless of family/bubble relationships.

Do not use the toilets next to the men’s changing room.

Please observe any taped off “no go” areas within the changing room. The shower curtain has been removed to eliminate it as a possible source of contamination.

Shower as quickly as possible. Once you are dressed, wipe down all contact points such as shower control, pegs, bench with the cleaning materials in the cleaning caddy. Wipe the door handle on the way out and take all your belongings with you. Do not leave any kit in the changing room even if you are staying on the premises.

If you are staying on the premises, please take your kit to your car. If you are on foot, kit may be left on the stairs. Do not take bags into the bar.

The previously published rules on accessing the club and playing still apply.

Please follow the rules to keep your fellow members safe.
