Club update

Dear member,

Following the successful reopening of the bar last weekend, we are pleased to say that the bar will be open this weekend at these times:

Friday 10th July - 7pm
Saturday 11th July - 6pm
Sunday 12th July - 6pm

Once again, we ask all visitors to the bar to please follow all the guidelines and to respond accordingly to any requests from our staff and volunteers. We understand that being in and around the club is very different from pre-lockdown, but the measures are in place to ensure that all of our members, staff and volunteers can enjoy themselves in a safe and responsible way.

Back on court soon?

Following the government’s announcement today, it is looking quite positive that we will be able to resume some form of playing squash on the 25th July. As with the bar reopening, we anticipate that being on court will be quite different from how it was a few months ago. We are awaiting guidelines from our national governing body, England Squash, to be released next week and will communicate the procedures for visiting the club to play squash when we have reviewed and ensured that we can implement them.

Best wishes,

The Committee
