Club reopening

Dear member

Good news, the courts and the bar will reopen w/c 12th April!

Reopening will resume with some restrictions, similar to those previously experienced.

The courts will be open Tuesday to Sunday and the court booking system is now available. The court fees are £3 off-peak and £5 peak, and the usage will be the same as when we reopened after the first lockdown:

  • Only singles games against someone from your household or support bubble.
  • Solo practice.
  • Squash bubbles and doubles are not permitted.
  • The toilets and changing rooms will be open.

If you are playing, please observe the following rules:

  • Arrive, ready to play, no more than 5 minutes before your court time and change into your court shoes.
  • Follow the hygiene and cleaning procedures.
  • Follow the one-way system when entering and leaving the club.

The bar will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 7pm with table service only. If there is demand for additional days or extended times, this may change.

For the time being, drinking and socialising will only be allowed outside. The marquee will be available with heaters! We are hoping to get a permanent outdoor structure soon…

Hopefully, we will see a return to normal activities at the club in the next couple of months and we are planning events and competitions for all members to celebrate full reopening.

Best wishes.
